Arizpe has, and continues to provide valuable insight into the complex world of the Architecture and Engineering professions. At Arizpe I am involved in numerous client and consultant interactions as well as lead designer of a $1.4 million dollar vehicle maintenance canopy in Laredo, Texas. Along with learning the ins and outs of project management, I am heavily involved with design and production of all Arizpe architecture and interiors projects, including technical CAD work and 3D visualization. As Arizpe is a small office,I am also involved in various aspects of business management, marketing and internal collaboration with Civil and MEP Engineering.

Worked on heavy steel fabrication for a mixed-use arts facility. Responsibilities included cutting, shaping and drilling structural steel members while working from construction documents and shop drawings.

Student Recreation Fitness Center_Facility Program Manager
Responsible for the management of a 200,000 sf. facility that accommodates nearly 3,000 students daily. Major responsibilities included training and leading a staff of nearly 40, employee hiring and staffing, scheduling and payroll. Implementing risk management policies and procedures was a major concern of our facility. I was also involved in the completion of an 80,000 sf. addition which opened in the spring of 2009.

Relevant Skills:
Proficient with word processing programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). High level of knowledge with most graphic design programs (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign). Proficient with a variety of 3D and CAD programs (AutoCad, SketchUp, Rhinoceros, and Vray). Also a good working knowledge of 3D Studio Max and Revit.  

Travel:
Studied architecture in a summer 2006 Study Abroad program to Europe. Travels included Berlin, Prague, Brussels, Strasburg and Paris. Minor travel destinations included The Hague, Bruges, Colmar and Potsdam.

Summary:
As a creative young professional with relevant experience inside and outside of architecture, I can play a major role in any design team. I have proven myself valuable to five firms with which I have had experience, as well as leadership and loyalty with all the jobs I have previously held. I look forward to becoming an integral part of a quality design firm and learning about innovative design in practice. Currently I am on track to complete my IDP in less than two years, with over 2,100 hours already completed.
